Mukilteo teacher makes final 4 in CMT contest

The country-singin' Kamiak math teacher is one step closer to reaching his star.

Chance McKinney has made it to the final four in CMT's Music City Madness contest.

KOMO radio's Brian Calvert was in Chance's classroom today, where his students excitedly counted down to see the results.

Now Chance needs YOUR help more than ever to get to the finals.

You can vote online as many times as you'd like.

The winner gets a televised national recording session at Nashville's famous Studio 330 on CMT and the opportunity to audition for a major label.
